These blades are made from the finest hardened and tempered steel available. They have a zero glare satin chrome finish which improves readability, provides scratch resistance and prevents corrosion. All 4 sides are surface ground parallel and straight. Fits all major brands of premium precision combination square heads including Starett, Mitutoyo, PEC and Brown and Sharpe
