• Jaws open to a full 2-3/8″ and will drill the middle of square blanks on the diagonal up to 1-7/8″ square, making it useful for more than just pen blanks
• The jaws on the drilling vice open and close together in a synchronized fashion to insure drilling in the precise center of blanks
• The 1/2″ thick anodized aluminum jaws are attached to hardwood base
• The base include a groove for a sacrificial blank to protect the base when drilling all the way through blanks
