Superb 16 Long Scottish Panel Plane

Superb 19th century Scottish 16″ long cast panel plane of the highest quality. 16″ long by 3″ wide. Nice shape casting with gunmetal lever cap and beautifully crafted and moulded, over-stuffed, Cuban mahogany infill. The front bun is a great shape with no damage at all to the top, The large rear enclosed handle is also a beautiful shape with full spur and no damage. The plane comes with its original full length thick parallel iron by James Howarth of Sheffield. The plane is in great condition. As good a Scottish panel plane of this length as we have offered for a long time. Just stunning !!!!
