This 3 jaw drill chuck with MT1 taper Can mount in a drill press, mill or the head or tail stock on wood or metal lathes. It is perfect for holding drill bits, shafts, small turnings, pen mandrel shafts, dowels and more. Set includes 0-1/2″ 3 Jaw Drill Chuck with MT1 Taper and Jaw Tightening Key. Small end of MT1 taper accepts 1/4-20 draw bolt (bolt not included). Will securely wedge in place with a tap of a mallet. Can be easily removed with a knock-out bar.
