Description

Good 19th century Scottish cast metal 11 3/4″ long by 2 3/4″ wide panel plane. Nice shape casting with chamfered top edge. Very nice over-stuffed Walnut or Cuban mahogany infill (it is hard to tell for sure) including a lovely scroll shape wedge and fully enclosed rear handle. The infill is a beautiful colour with deep original patination. The plane is in good condition with no issues. Pretty decent mouth.
