This miniature magnetic base is one of the most compact and economical magnetic bases available today. It has an anodized aluminum upright attachment piece and a powerful rare earth magnetic base with 40 pounds of holding power. It is compact measuring just 1-1/4 high and 1 in diameter. The upright attachment piece contains one mounting location tapped with 1/4-20 threads. This compact magnetic base will accommodate dial indicators with a lug back and ensure they stay in place for accurate measurements. A dial indicator can pivot a full 170 degrees.
