Description
These precision 4-piece combination squares are made in the USA by Products Engineering Corporation (PEC Tools), a premier US tool manufacturer. They are perfect for project/part layout, machine setup, determining level/plumb, or as a depth, height, or marking gauge. Manufactured in accordance with the derived tolerances from FEDERAL SPECIFICATION NO. GGG-S-656E dated January 29, 1996, they are guaranteed to be square to within 0.004″ (four thousandths of an inch) over the length of the 12″ blade. This type of square is widely used by metal and woodworkers alike. The blades are made of hardened and tempered steel with a no-glare satin chrome finish. The micro-fine blade graduations are precision photo-etched and then black-filled for easy readability. The square head has an integrated spirit level and a scribe. The protractor is reversible and has a built-in level. The set comes in a blow-molded plastic case.
