Up for sale is a gorgeous & unusual antique FRENCH Twin Iron Moulding PLANE that has some age to it.
It is made out of the most beautiful & figured Cormier, looks to be a quirk ogee & bead type profile.

A beautiful rich & warm patina to the wood, a great DISPLAY piece.

Weight – 900g

Size: 226mm long x 45mm wide & cuts an approximately 30mm long profile

CONDITION

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age & use, a checks to the figured knot area, some delaminating at the heel & toe- the plane feels solid however, & with a sharpen & tune it would be fun to use, it’s a lovely piece & part of the Yves Longfils collection that we bought back from France in 2019.
